Just booked my latest Turks trip. I feel like I have to cleanse myself after going to Breezes in the Bahamas.

Anyone else going that week? For what it''s worse, the pricing isn''t bad at all. $1355 US not including flight or transfers. No single supplement.

 

Marc- Just got back last wknd

Great GO team right now, mostly young blond, female, very friendly and from U.S. They will be in place until at least May I think. Had 2 courts of beach volleyball going most of the time...I miss it already !

 

Just as important-do they still do the Wednesday BBQ softball game? That's always my favorite part of the week.

Actually my girlfriend and I are going 4/24 to 5/3. Cancun was pretty booked up so we are going back to Turks.

The amazing part about Breezes was that the crowd was actually not bad at all. I really wonder how that crowd would have been at Turks, with a GO presence and more things to do.

It says something that you're there more often than me.

 

I must say our week was great! Nice people and awesome GO Team! The only other thing I could ask for would have been more singles...2 minor problems with my room: bulb out and the vent in the bathroom needing fixing were done promptly! When I asked reception for more water, someone delivered it to my room within the hour! The weather which has been iffy was picture perfect! Note: please bring Sailing Shack Crunchy Peanut Butter!
After my last post people were showing up with it much to the amazement of the GO's!

Nice to see Brian (sports) Kendall (circus) and the Sailing Team who let us volleyball players camp out! Barq and his dog Dim and of course Vladimir who will be CDV real soon!

We did a triathalon but since no one wanted to do all parts we broke it up into a 3 person relay! Lotsa fun!

All in all not a negative comment about the whole week! There were alot of repeats from last January so nice to see all! Birthday week was awesome!

Final point: Food in rooms....A BIG NO NO! Store your food/snacks in tupperware and keep in the fridge....I bring cereal with me and the smell from the empty cup attracted those micro ants which are visible in the cleanest of rooms! I found out after a billion CM's that there is a higher setting on the fridge-Go figure!

There was no armada last week. The official reason was the shore can be dangerous because of waves in the winter. I believe only having 3 boats that work was more the reason.

Yeah Its pretty crazy we have been there 5 times in 12 months but Barq and Vlad are great and the GO team also! So see you then! April seems so far but I know it will fly by.

   

Oh and Marcus since you were so happy with the week you spent there I urge you to write to CM Relations like I did. I sent a long and very specific letter - It is very important to give them praises when they do a great job since many forget. Let me know and I could send you the info.

I'm glad it's a good GO team. I always hope there are GOs I've met before there. That's always fun. Even more fun would be ex-GOs that I know there as GMs.

It really was the currents. My parents cruise ship was not allowed to get close enough to dock when they were going to the Grand Turk.

I am hoping that things will have mellowed by the time I get to Turkoise, in three weeks.

Gotta love coincidence. The good news is that Marion Smith is doing another singles week in the above week. The bad news is the price is lower than what I booked :(

 

Looked at April Airline rates....only thing is the flight
for nonstops out of New York go out at 11am......So you get into TCI
at 3p and till you get to Club Med yada yada and check in you have to
figure at least and hour? This kills your first day...The return flight leaves
at 4pm so your figure you leave the club 1:30p?
